Radix has joined the DeepTech Capital Consortium

Radix has joined the DeepTech Capital Consortium

The DeepTech Capital Consortium is a joint initiative of Poland’s leading deep tech investors – Rubicon Partners, iif.vc, Radix Ventures, and a large group of individual investors associated with the website www.rynkowyrebeliant.pl

The entities decided to formalize their cooperation following the success of joint investments in companies such as Fresh Inset, Noctiluca, Pro XN, and Bioceltix. Altogether, the group manages approximately PLN 572 million in capital and aims to support young technology companies across deep tech, life science, and space tech sectors.

Synergy of experience and competence
“The DeepTech Capital Consortium was created out of the need to formalize cooperation between investors who have consistently proven they can develop Polish technology companies – from seed to maturity, including IPO stage. We are combining capital, experience, and complementary competencies to create a new quality in the deep tech market”

said Michał Chabowski, Managing Partner at Rubicon Partners.

The DeepTech Capital Consortium combines the expertise and capital of four entities:

  • Rubicon Partners – a venture-building fund operating since 2008, with a proven track record in investing, fundraising, and taking companies public.
  • iif.vc – a professional deep tech fund with investors including the Polish Development Fund (PFR).
  • Radix Ventures – a venture capital fund supported by the European Investment Fund (EIF) and PFR, focused on technology companies with global potential.
  • Patrons of www.rynkowyrebeliant.pl  – a group of over 100 private investors actively involved in the pre-IPO and public markets.
“At iif.vc, we have long focused on deep tech projects that are both attractive to investors and capable of making a real economic impact. Participation in the DeepTech Capital Consortium is a natural extension of that mission – collaborating with partners who, like us, understand that success lies not only in financing innovation but in the ability to commercialize it effectively and provide a pathway for further growth and funding. Together, we can turn advanced technologies into scalable businesses – from R&D through implementation to capital market financing”

said Maciej Wieloch, Managing Partner at iif.vc.

The initiative’s members share a history of joint projects, consistent collaboration on subsequent investments, and the ability to finance companies at every stage of development. Their portfolio includes investments in several young technology ventures, such as:

Fresh Inset – a company offering active packaging that extends the freshness of harvested fruits, vegetables, and flowers;

Noctiluca – listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, developing chemical compounds used, among others, in OLED displays;

Pro XN – a fast-growing company in the professional cosmetics segment, based on the most potent antioxidant discovered to date – xanthohumol;

Bioceltix – a company developing advanced veterinary therapies.

“Deep tech investments require not only significant capital but also long-term commitment – including from investors themselves. At Radix Ventures, we understand that success depends on credible, active partners and co-investors who appreciate the unique nature of this investment space. Joining the DeepTech Capital Consortium was therefore a natural step for us – an extension of our long-standing cooperation with its members.”

said Wojciech Ratymirski, Partner at Radix Ventures.

Building future market leaders
“Our cooperation is based on shared benefits, reduced investment risk, and practical experience in executing complex projects. Moreover, through this initiative, we aim to democratize and expand individual investors’ access to early-stage technology investment opportunities in Poland. That’s why the consortium includes not only funds at various development stages but also engaged private investors.”

said Carlos Roca, the founder and leader of the investor group associated with www.rynkowyrebeliant.pl, well-known in Poland’s investment community.

By formalizing cooperation, all members of the DeepTech Capital Consortium will jointly support young technology companies through every stage of development – from seed and Series A/B rounds to pre-IPO and IPO phases.

Stay tuned — we’ll be announcing new joint investments soon!

Agentic AI: Key challenges and our investment perspective

AI without reliable grounding in facts is a liability. As AI shifts from static chatbots to dynamic, “agentic” systems, the real question becomes: how can these agents think, act, and—critically—tap into the right data?

Is AI’s hype over — or is a new computing era just beginning?

Generative AI leapt from lab demo to boardroom agenda in record time, but the real-world applications revealed real flaws. Hallucinations, shallow reasoning, and “context amnesia” show that current large language models (LLMs) are statistical parrots, not crystal-clear oracles. Yet each weakness is a door, not a dead end.
